The Product
PayPossible is a venture-backed startup focused on point of sale financing technology. Our vision is to be the simplest way for a small to mid-sized business to offer their customers’ multiple financing options at the point of sale. Our platform seamlessly connects customers directly to lenders in real-time, to provide them with all of the financing options they qualify for.
The problem
Paypossible wanted to focus on the usability of their product first before focusing on the user experience. They wanted to make sure the product actually works. After they received feedback and investors, they now can focus on aesthetics and UX.
The Solution
My solution in improving the user experience was to first redesign their website. After researching competitors and top designs, I created a simple and usable UI that will allow the user to get to their destination faster and easier.
Design Thinking
The old website had too much copy on the UI, people get lost easily. The CTA buttons did not stand out enough, which defeats the purpose of a CTA button because it does not call the attention of the user. The landing page was too long, and contained information that could be used elsewhere or just cut out in general. And the overall design needed improvements.
First, I cut the length of the landing page to about half, to only what’s needed in guiding the user in their experience. I kept our color scheme, which fortunately was great as it is. I designed the web page to where it is much easier for the user to notice where our CTA buttons are. I also chose image assets that corresponded with our target audience.
